Exercise and Rest activate healing!

rebounding is fun! Exercise and Rest, two components of health and healing that go hand in hand.  Movement is life, we need to be in motion but we also need to rest.  Both of these are important, especially if we are healing. Let's talk exercise first!   It's recommended we do moderate exercise 30-60 minutes per day, 6 days per week.  My Exercise of choice (right now) is rebounding. Other options could be walking or biking along with light weightlifting if you are physically capable.  Just start slow and build up.     I chose to rebound and here are a few reasons why.  I got released from the hospital on July 20th, right smack in the middle of the desert summer where most days it's 90 degrees out by 9am.....just too darn hot to be outside taking a walk.  I skipped on biking for exercise because of the heat but also because I may or may not be known to occasionally fall off of bicycles πŸ˜‚πŸ€·πŸΌ‍♀️.  And I didn’t want to go to...

Here it is....My Raw Whole Food/Plant Based diet!

On October 1, 2023, I embarked on my life changing adventure to save my life!  For 90 days I’ll be eating (and drinking) 100% raw (organic) fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.  That meant goodbye cheese 😭, goodbye Diet Coke, goodbye chicken and goodbye candy and ice cream!  Someone told me when I was first starting off “You can’t do this with fear, it needs to be a joy and an adventure.”  I embraced that attitude and dove right in. Luckily, I had purchased the Chris Beat Cancer course so I wasn’t going in completely blind.  He has his course broken down into 10 easy to follow modules (I highly recommend it if you need a healing or prevention guide).  You can find more information at www.chrisbeatcancer.com . He also has some amazing testimonies you can listen to here: https://chrisbeatcancer.libsyn.com/    So, what was my diet going to look like if I was juicing/eating all Raw Whole Food/Plant Based foods?  Well, the first 90 days will be a ...

Change: Out with the old me, in with the new!

“Cancer changes things!  Cancer divides your life into two timelines: B.C. and A.D.—Before Cancer and After Diagnosis.” ~ (Chris Wark) My life has fully changed, the life I had before cancer is over…it’s gone.  I will never get it back….EVER!  I’ve finally accepted that cancer  didn’t make me sick.  Nope, I actually have cancer because my body is sick, it's toxic…and I MUST fix that.  I was terrified when I got my diagnosis.  I was so afraid…I cried so much, huge crocodile tears scared…. I had cancer!!!  I grieved about a lot of things, fear of the unknown and losing the “carefree” life I had were at the top of my list.   Fast forward to about 8 weeks post diagnosis (and after TONS of research) I quickly realized that I had to change my entire life in order to survive, I HAD to let my old life go!  For my entire life I believed that cancer (and most disease) is genetic, luck of the draw (or bad luck…) if you will.  So, you can ...

My Cancer diagnosis and why I declined chemotherapy!

Keith & I August 27, 2021 Hi!! My name is Ali Sabino and this is my story of how I found out I had colon cancer, how/why I declined conventional medical treatment (chemotherapy) and decided to heal my body holistically.  I'll be breaking this down into many sections but this first post will give some background.  I hope you'll follow along with me as I tell my story and share with you my healing journey.  It all started the early morning of July 11, 2023 (ironically my 50th birthday) when I was admitted into the hospital after an emergency CT scan showed an apple core lesion in my descending colon.  I had 2 emergency surgeries one on July 12th and the second on July 14th, where I underwent a Robot Assisted Sigmoid Colectomy and 7 inches of my colon was removed along with a tumor the size of a peach.  What I didn't know at the time was how great God is and that He really is a God of miracles.   My amazing surgeon, for privacy purposes we'll call her...
